Suthida Sakulsurarat (Fon) is a photographer and a graphic designer based in Upstate, New York. She was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand before moving to the USA in 2003 to continue her Master Degree and expand her skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and photography fields.

 

Background

After receiving her Bachelor Degree of Fine and Applied Arts in Photography from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok, she worked as a freelance graphic designer and a professional photographer for a leading pet magazine in Thailand. Fon came to the United States to attend the Graduate Graphic Design program at the Rochester Institute of Technology where she learned in-depth about typography, color theory, design software, and creative processes. She completed her Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 2006 with a concentration in Photography and Communications.

 

Present

Fon works as a full time in-house graphic designer for a US-nationwide company, and also runs her pet photography and design business. During her free time, she enjoys taking photographs especially animals and sceneries, cooking Thai food, hiking, playing sports, and walking her two dogs - Mikie and Rocky.
